Before you leave, download the packs you expect to need. The app surfaces storage impact clearly so you are not surprised mid-trip. Not every language pair will be available offline at launch—that honesty matters more than vague promises.

When you are offline, the UI still prioritizes the conversation thread and input modes you already know from online use. We avoid alternate “offline-only” layouts that feel like a different product.

As coverage expands, we will extend packs and tune sizes based on device feedback and quality benchmarks—not marketing timelines.
